Friday nights were play nights in our community of travellers and the rule was that everyone had to be on the stage at least once. Those who lived through that time can recall the intensity of the performers and how they gave it all in the theatre.
Most of us had never been on the stage before and yet such
was the enthusiasm of the performers that you would have never guessed that
they were not professional actors.
Lacklustre performances meant the performers were jettisoned
outside into the deep space as our space ships continued their journey towards
Alpha Centauri.

ReplyDeleteI'm working on a web series currently. A few of the actors, including me, I signed on as a writer and branched out to many other roles, have limited to no acting experience. It's interesting and fun. No one has been jettisoned to deep space yet, which is probably a good thing. I would be among the first.
