I can read you like a
book.
That's what he said each time I
wanted to do something. He'd order my food at
restaurants because he knew what I wanted.
He'd buy jewellery and clothes for
me because he knew my tastes.
He said he wanted to improve me and if I truly loved him I’d
follow his advice.
So when we remodelled the kitchen he picked out the décor he
knew I would like.
I am glad he chose that expensive meat cleaver with the
high-carbon stainless steel blade.
Worked like a treat.

DeleteHe obviously didn't see that ending to the book coming!

DeleteThere were some secret pages in that book.
ReplyDeletePygmalion never liked her creator did she?
Thanks Björn, there are plenty of secrets in the book.
DeleteBut regarding Pygmalion the play, it's ending was left unresolved. Though he wrote a whole postscript to make it clear. Shaw really disliked the way the movie ended. Shaw wrote: "Galatea, the woman who comes to life in the myth, never does quite like Pygmalion. His relation to her is too God-like to be altogether agreeable."
Uh, oh. It seems he won't be choosing anything else for her. ---- Suzanne
ReplyDeleteI think you have that right Suzanne
DeleteI really don't often approve of murder, but I will make an exception in this case. I took an instant dislike to the guy, so I didn't mind saying goodbye :)
